Named three finalists of the «The best car in the world» contest (World Car of the Year). The most worthy candidates for the honorary title of reporters recognized are the following models: Ford Fiesta, Volkswagen Golf and Toyota iQ. Winner will be announced already at the car show on April the 9th in New York.

In addition to the best car in the world in New York, «The best sports car in the world» (World Performance Car) will be shown. There are three candidates: Nissan GT-R, Porsche 911 Carrera and Chevrolet Corvette ZR1.

For the title «World Green Car» the Honda FCX Clarity, Toyota iQ and the Mitsubishi i MiEV will fight.

Will also be nominated and «best in the world automotive design» (World Car Design). Here in the finals came Fiat 500, Jaguar XF, and Citroen C5.
